What is HeatedDesires.com?
Heated Desires was designed as a web community for people to meet for friendship, love, or intimacy. Our goal is to make a site with recent profiles (activity within 6 months) , to keep anyone trying to scam money off this site, and to try to make sure that all profiles are of real people looking for other people to chat with, get to know, and/or hang out with. Our hopes are to try to make your search easier and more fulfilling in this already stressful age.

I signed up as a member, but I can not send messages?
Look in your control panel at your “profile status”. If your status is not “active” you will be unable to send messages to other members and you will be unable to enjoy ALL HeatedDesires.com’s features.
Unconfirmed = You have not confirmed your e-mail address yet. Check your mail and click on the link provided with-in the e-mail to confirm.
Suspended = You have suspended your account. Just click on the link next to your status to become active again .

What are kisses?
Kisses are virtual kisses sent to other members as a way to show interest in talking to them or to just show you are thinking about them. A virtual kiss will be sent to them with a link to your profile.
Kisses can be seen in your communicator as well as see who you have sent kisses too.

What is e-mail to a friend?
While viewing someone’s profile if you feel a friend maybe interested in seeing their profile you may send an e-mail to your friend with a direct link to that person’s profile by clicking on “e-mail to friend” from that person’s profile and then entering in the appropriate information.

How can I block a member?
If at any time a member is bothering you or you would just like for them to not be able to send you mail you may, while looking at their profile, click on the “block member” at that time this person will be unable to send you any more messages.
If at a later date you change your mind and would like to unblock a member you may do so from your communicator.

What is “hot member”?
You can hot any member at anytime but click the link from their profile “hot member“. It is like a favorite list. You may view the persons you have hot listed from your communicator as well as view who has hot listed you.

What is Spam report?
If someone is sending you Spam in your messages you can click the Spam report link from that message. Then a message will be sent to Admin letting us know this person is spamming and appropriate actions will then be taken.
Also if someone is advertising on their profile you may also send a Spam report from that person’s profile. Spamming or scamming will NOT be tolerated at ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

How do I edit my profile? You may edit your profile at any time from your member menu (located to the left) click “edit profile”. Then make any changes you wish and click the “save changes” at the bottom of the edit page. All changes will be saved.

Is HTML allowed on my profile? Yes HTML codes are allowed to be used on your profile as well as profile comments. However, at this time videos and music will not be allowed.

How do I edit my friends list? You can edit your friends list from your communicator. Also you can view who you have asked to be friends and who has asked you to be friends.

How do I see who has looked at my profile? You can check to see who has viewed your profile from your communicator, at the bottom. Also you can see who’s profiles you have looked at.

How do I upload pictures to my gallery? You may upload photos to your gallery by clicking on “my gallery” from your member menu. Then make an album and upload photos.
You may have your albums set for everyone to view or so that only your friends may see them by checking the appropriate box when creating the album.
Once pictures are uploaded into your albums you may also move the order of the pictures as well as remove them by viewing the album and clicking on the button to do what you would like to do.

What is feedback? Feedback is where you may put stories of experiences you may have at HeatedDesires.com. Then all others will be able to view and read your stories.

How do I add a poll to my profile? To add a poll to your profile just click the link “my polls” from your member menu. You may also edit or delete your polls from there.

What kind of pictures are NOT allowed?
Pictures that are not allowed are as follows, but not limited to:
-NUDE PICTURES ARE NOT ALLOWED
-Pictures portraying a sexual act NOT ALLOWED
-Pictures showing pubic hair NOT ALLOWED
-Pictures exposing nipples (women only) NOT ALLOWED
-Any picture that is of an adult nature NOT ALLOWED
-Pictures showing genitals NOT ALLOWED
If you are unsure about a picture the best thing to do is not try to upload it. If you try to upload any of the above type of pictures, not only will your profile be deleted but you will be permanently BANNED from HeatedDesires.com.
(note: HeatedDesires.com maintains the right to decide what is inappropriate)

I would like to leave the site, How do I cancel my account? If you would like to have your account removed you may e-mail admin@heateddesires.com and request to have your profile removed. Please allow up to 48 hours for your account to be removed. If you wish to make your profile so no one can see it immediately you can click the “suspend” link next to your status in the control panel. This will take your profile out of the searches and will also not allow anyone to message you any more.
